CDT Kerry Mechanical Pencil
The Kerry model mechanical pencil was first released by Pentel in 1971. They set out to develop a mechanichal pencil that had the feel of a fountain pen. The result was a nicely-weighted, compact writing tool that utilized premium materials and had an iconic design that would endure for decades.
In recent years, the Kerry has had a resurgence in popularity in Japan, and CDT's version is a standout collaboration. In addition to the striking balance between the matte silver cap and glossy white shade, CDT's signature "Sanada Himo" braided pattern is also etched into the central brass section. The removable cap protects the long, delicate tip, and precision parts makes this pencil suitable for both drafting and every day use. The Kerry also includes a small eraser but if you're like the Japanese, and want to keep the eraser looking pristine, consider paring this pencil with a CDT Eraser. If you're fan of the mechanical pencil, you have to add a CDT Kerry to your collection.
