We added several new products from one of our favorite stationery lines. The Corda Desk Pen is the same high-quality as the Metaphys Locus series, but in a very unique form that is meant to be displayed on your desk top. The standard Locus Ballpoint Pen was recently discontinued by Metaphys, but we still have the Locus 3Way Multi-pen. We restocked those, and the latest version comes bundled with a free Viss Eraser, which happens to be one of our other new products. We also added the Rassen Paper Knife, a high-end letter knife unlike any you have ever seen. Finally, we topped up and restocked a couple of other Metaphys favorites.

The latest Blackwing Volume is in, and Palomino has once again created something special. This limited edition pencil is only the second one to include Blackwing's not too hard and not too soft, balanced graphite, and it's the first with a round body. We're a big fan of the unique shade of blue chosen for the eraser, and the gray wash coat that lets the wood grain show through is a stand-out feature. As always, these are a limited run, and once they sell out, they're gone forever.
![]() We’re especially proud to announce the addition of select products from boutique Japanese stationer Inkaren. When we first contacted Inkaren, we were told they had suspended international sales. We were so enamored with their products that we offered to freely advise them on how to best work with international retailers, and we’re happy to be offering their products as the first such retailer. We are carrying five different products in multiple variants. We’re sure that these simple yet thoughtful designs will help to elevate your creative efforts. We also love Inkaren’s spirit of collaboration, as their line was made possible through the partnership of six different companies. The latest CDT order has arrived from Tokyo bringing with it four new stellar products. The CDT Wooden Tape Dispenser is sure to impress, and with it we’re including a roll of CDT Sanada Tape (also available separately), which looks excellent over craft paper. We’re also adding the CDT Business Card Case, coming in the same lovely cinnamon leather as the CDT Leather Pen Case. Finally, to coincide with national writing month, we’re releasing the CDT Jabara Accordion Letter Set, a uniquely Japanese product.
We’ve also brought back the much-loved CDT Graffiti Pad. We previously stopped carrying it after CDT discontinued it, although later we found out they still had a decent supply in dark green. The product will eventually become permanently unavailable, but we’ll be stocking it as long as we can. We’ve also topped up our CDT notebooks and pencils. ![]() I can’t remember the first time we saw Kata Kata’s endearing designs. It may have been on their origami paper at Nagasawa in Kobe, Japan. We immediately fell in love with the work of Takeshi Matsunaga and Chie Takai. Their illustrations largely focus on images of natural scenery and animals. Some of them have an old-world European ascetic, and many of their animals designs are reminiscent of classical, Japanese motifs but with their own unique twist. Most intriguing is their tenugui, or traditional hand cloths, which are stenciled and dyed by hand using traditional techniques. ![]() We’re very excited to be the second retailer of Kata Kata products in the United States, and the first and only to currently be carrying their A4 Postcards series. Their illustrations can be found on many more products (such as the aforementioned origami paper), so let us know if you love them, and hopefully we can expand our offerings in the future. Please click on the images below individually or browse the entire line of Kata Kata. TenugiA4 PostcardsThe latest big box has arrived from Japan! We restocked, topped-up, and received a few new products. We're excited to be adding the Mitsubishi 460 and Mitsubishi 550, two retro, budget-friendly ballpoint pens. To go alongside the Olfa Limited Craft Knife, we added the Olfa Limited Art Knife. It's a precision art knife, made of premium materials, and offering the same minimal color-ways that the Olfa Limited series is known for. Finally, we have added white versions of the Midori Brass Pen and Midori Brass Pencil. Get yours today. New ArrivalsRestockedThe latest limited edition pencil in Palomino's Blackwings Volumes series draws inspiration from the great California Gold Rush. The gold barrel and ferrule, paired with the black imprint, black striple on the ferrule, and black eraser make this one of the most striking Volumes pencils to date. Get yours while they're available.
Yet again, Palomino wows us with another great looking Blackwing Volume. The Blackwing 344 draws inspiration from the art of photography, paying tribute to American photographer and photo journalist Dorothea Lange. To celebrate this new release, we are offering 10% off the 344, or any order of $25 or more, for one week only. Use coupon code "10OFF344" at checkout to get your discount. As always, Volumes pencils are limited, and once they sell out, they're gone forever. Get yours now!
The boat from Japan has arrived, bringing us both new products and a resupply of products that were running low or sold out. We are adding two new products from Craft Design Technology, the CDT A5 Notepad and the CDT Brush Pen (plus refill), which happens to be our first brush pen. We have added the very iconic Mitsubishi No. 772 Red-Blue Pencils, the Dog Ear Notebook by Hum, and the Legno Pen and Acro Drive Pen from Pilot. Finally, we are adding the Nähe General Purpose Case. Nähe is yet another great brand by Hightide (creators of the Penco, PH, and Hum brands). The Nähe line is mostly storage and organizational products drawing inspiration from German stationers. We specifically chose this Nähe case to accommodate full-sized colored pencils, like our Mitsubishi No. 850s that are too long for many other pen and pencil cases. It'll hold about a dozen pencils, so a whole box of Mitsubishi No. 101s, or a nice array of individual pens, pencils, or erasers. New ProductsBack in Stock |
