The Allex brand is produced by Gifu Prefecture-based Hayashi Cutlery Co, a tool company that was founded almost 70 years ago. All of their products have thoughtful designs, and a startling number of them have received Japan’s famed Good Design Award. While the Allex line is regularly updated with new products, many of their offerings remain unchanged for decades.
