This eraser is a product that makes us happy in a way that only Metaphys can do. On the form side, you have an eraser designed to look like a stick of gum, with the “gum” being the actual eraser itself, and the “wrapper” a rigid aluminum sleeve. On the function side, you have a very thin eraser than can be used horizontally to erase large areas of graphite or turned vertically for fine erasing. As the eraser wears down, you slowly push it through the holder, always ensuring a sharp edge. The aluminum holder is an object that will last forever, and eraser refills can be purchased when the eraser finally become too short to use.
