Pilot Timeline Past Ballpoint Pen

Pilot set out to reimagine the pen with the Timeline series. The ingenious design has a twisting mechanism that not only extends and retracts the ballpoint but also reveals or conceals the nib. Twist the grip one rotation to smoothly reveal the nib; twist it a second rotation to extend the point.

The unique design of the Timeline series extends beyond the pen itself. Each pen comes packaged in protective plastic tube that also doubles as a pen stand, ensuring your Timeline pen occupies a prominent place on your desk.

The Timeline series contains three different lines, Future, Present, and Past, each containing different colors and finishes and employing different materials. The Timeline Past is the high point of the series, offering an anodized aluminum barrel and clip in flat black, with a semi-gloss Timeline logotype, and a fade-resistant dark brown wood grip.

Pilot Corporation was originally founded in 1918. It's perhaps Japan’s most famous pen maker, known especially for its fountain pens and affordable, high-quality ballpoint pens. More recently Pilot’s erasable FriXion pens, originally created in the early ‘80s, have been gaining popularity internationally. And while Pilot pens are widely available around the world, Pilot continues to offer many unique products exclusively to its home market.
