Clear plastic folders designed to keep every leaf of paper crisp are standard issue in Japan both at school and the office. We find they're particularly handy when you have paper you need to put in your bag that might otherwise get crumbled alongside a laptop.
These particular clear folders have a subtle, abstract pattern printed in white that draws inspiration from the braided fabric handle of a katana. The pattern both adds character to what would normally be uninspiring clear plastic while also slightly obscuring the contents for a little added privacy.
