Palomino Blackwing Volumes - Vol. 33⅓
The latest limited edition pencil from Blackwing is a tribute to vinyl records. With all the advances in music listening technology, many die hard music fans, and some of the greatest musicians who ever lived, still prefer the analog experience of vinyl. Those who grew up on vinyl, or enjoy its cult resurgence, know that the speed of an LP is 33⅓ rpm.
Fans of black on black are going to love Vol. 33⅓. It features a matte black finish and matte black ferrule, a black eraser, and a glossy black imprint. It also has glossy black bands that resemble the grooves of a record. Whether you're a fan of analog music, a musician yourself, or you just like the looks of the stealthiest Blackwing Palomino has ever put out, let this pencil inspire your creatively. We're recommending you order quick, because this release is likely goingto be one of the fastest selling yet.

After the initial success of Palomino's graded graphite pencils, Cal Cedar was able to revive the legendary Blackwing pencil. The Blackwing was originally a Eberhart-Faber pencil that had been discontinued and later obtained cult status as pencil aficionados were paying exorbitant amounts at auction for dead stock. The Blackwing had gained a reputation as the pencil of choice for Grammy, Emmy, Pulitzer and Academy Award winners, and now they have become available to a whole new generation of creatives.
